Q. Are there any special requirements for renting an RV from East Coast RV Rentals? A. The renter (customer) must be at least 25 years of age have, a valid driver's license, (with a clean driving record). Any additional drivers must also be at least 25 years of age and present on the day of departure with a valid license. (Renters Credit should be in good standing). Q. Is there a down payment or a security deposit? A. A $500 down payment (This payment is applied to your final charges) is required when you make your reservation. A security deposit, usually $600, is required (in addition to your rental charges) on the scheduled date of your departure and credited back to you on your scheduled return date. Q. Is insurance provided? A. Yes. All of are RV rentals include insurance. (Additional supplemental liability insurance is also available). Read more Q. What is your cancellation policy? A. If a reservation is cancelled prior to 15 days before the scheduled departure date the entire $500 deposit is refunded minus a $60 administrative fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 15 days of the departure date no refund can be granted. Q .What is your pick up policy? A. RVs are available for pick up between 1:00pm and 4:00pm Monday thru Saturday. We are closed Sunday and holidays. Q. What is your return policy? A. Rental units must be returned by 11:00am on their scheduled return date. Unauthorized extensionsions (late returns) will be charged at the unit's daily rate plus a $ 50/hour late fee (maximum 4/hrs per day).The gas tank must be returned full. There are no refunds or credits on early returns. Q. Is it difficult to drive a RV? A. You’ll find it fun and easy to take the wheel of a motor home. A motor home is not difficult to drive; however, it is substantially wider, longer and heavier than an automobile. These differences do call for special driving procedures. The procedures are easy to master and make your trip that much more enjoyable. Q. Is there a generator? Is there a charge?
A. Yes there is a generator. (You do not need to use the generator to run the basic functions of the RV) the fee is $3 per/hr. You can save on this expense by staying at a camp sites that have electric hook ups. Q. What appliances are there?
A. Our units have TVs, in dash stereos, microwave ovens, stoves, cook tops, refrigerator freezera and airconditioners. Q. Is there an awning? A. Yes (unlike other rental companys we have awnings on are motor homes). Q. Can the refrigerator stay on for my whole trip? A. Yes with proper use and a little attention on the renter’s part this is no problem. Q. Is there a ladder on the back of the RV so we can get on the roof to watch the race? A. There is a ladder on the back of the RV but using it, or going on the roof is strictly prohibited and put the renter in breach of contract. The ladder is for East Coast RV Rental service only. Q. How much water do the on board fresh water tank hold? A. These tanks vary in size, approximately 45 to 50 gallons. Q. How will I know how to work all this stuff? A. At the schedule departure time all customers will be given an orientation to help them become familiar with the RV. (This orientation takes about 60 minuets) Q. What cleaning options do I have when I return the RV? A. There are 3 cleaning options, you must elect one before you depart. 1. Pre-paid cleaning- we clean the RV inside and out and dump the waste tanks when you return $95 2. Pre-Paid Waste Evacuation -You clean the vehicle inside and out & we dump the waste tanks-$35 (vehicle must be returns in same condition it was in at pick-up) 3. Free Renter Returns the Vehicle Clean- You clean the vehicle inside and out and dump the waste tanks. (Vehicle must be returns in same condition it was in at pick-up)-$0 Q. Do you charge for mileage and if so how much? A. 100 miles per day given .35c per/mile after. Q. What happens if the RV we are renting experiences mechanical difficulty? A. Although this is very unlikely scenario since all the RVs are new mode we do provide Two Road side Assistance Packages with every rental. Both service numbers are available 24 hours a day 24 hours a day Q. Can I smoke in the RV?
A. Smoking is NEVER allowed in the RV. Q. Do you allow towing withyour RVs.? A.Towing is allowed with our class c motor homes additonal fees must be paid before departure. $1000 Tow deposit required( refundable) plus $15 per/day tow fee(Restrictions apply ask your rental agent for details.We do not supply tow ball.). Q.Can we bring our pet?
A.Some pets may be ok they must be pre approved by East Coast Rv Rentals; there will be additional pet fee off $100. And a pet security deposit off $500 refundable,(vehicle must be returned in same condition it was in at pick-up. |
